Square breathing exercise

Square breathing - Have you ever become anxious in the minutes leading up to your speech?

If you attend a lot of project updates and you have to present, it can take a while before it's your turn to speak.

Square breathing is a simple technique you can do and nobody will be any the wiser.

Take a deep breath in through the nose for five seconds - count the seconds.

Pause for five seconds - count the seconds.

Exhale silently in a controlled manner for five seconds.

Pause for five seconds - count the seconds.

Repeat the exercise six times. This will give you two minutes of increased oxygen and control.

It'll help you feel grounded and more relaxed.

Try this technique to calm your nerves and make an improved delivery.
