I'm delighted to announce that the College of Public Speaking is back.
We ran our first post-lockdown session at Voluntary Action Islington, Kings Cross this week. The venue is still asserting the Covid-safety rules of recent months, and all students were happy to be back in a safe classroom, face-to-face with other human beings, and not working through a Zoom or Teams call. The discussion was one of relief. Many of the students had worked from home in the presence of their young children. Dividing time between work and family was an interesting theme, often filled with frustration.
We have a great opportunity on TTT courses with a bundled offer of a face-to-face course and the online TTT course (valued at £367+VAT) as a supplementary post-classroom resource. That's for the first 99 students. The bookings are coming thick and fast, please don't miss out.
Our Training the Trainer Course is now up and running both in class and online.
We're building our delivery capacity in the Fear of Public Speaking and Training the Trainer initially. Management, Leadership and Vocal Development courses will follow.
Here's our current live schedule: Courses
We've recently added our Storytelling for Business and Training Course.
The venue has also had a first-rate refurbishment in recent months. It's wonderful that they've given the training facilities such an attractive lift.
I hope to see you one day soon.

Thank you so much for sending the wealth of information in the post-course materials this evening. It will be invaluable during the next few weeks whilst I prepare to find a job.
I have successfully downloaded the videos and watched them all back. Not only is the visible improvement from Monday to Tuesday so apparent to me (you can actually see my neck and jaw clenched on the first video) I am even more amazed that this first attempt wasn't nearly as bad as I had expected.
For me, the course has provided the opportunity to wipe the slate clean. I now have a positive speaking experience to replace the bad memories of panic attacks at work. I entered the room with quite a negative expectation yesterday, not believing that anything could really change the person I viewed myself as....a 'non-public speaker'. I was impressed with your transparent agenda as you so often get on courses and have no expectation of what was to come. Your encouraging and supportive approach to the class and the issues dealt with was perfect.
Thank you so much. I am looking forward now to experiences where I can continue to work on this rather than being literally terrified of taking on a new job role for fear of the speaking I will have to do.
I really wanted to keep in touch with everyone and only managed to connect with Amy and I wondered if it would be ok to pass on my LinkedIn details to the rest of the group and if they wish to connect they can. It would be good to know how everyone gets on.
Best wishes - Sarah S
